Silverstone Infants Climb to the Top.
Silverstone Infants School are very happy to announce the arrival of their new outside play equipment. Funds have been received from two sources to finance the construction of an all-weather area for the children to play. The School won an award from Woolworths Playground Partnership for 5,000 pounds which started off the fund and retired Deputy Head, Carolyn Lovell requested cash for the equipment fund, instead of birthday gifts when she celebrated her 60th birthday earlier this year. Julie Letts, Headteacher said "Thanks to the Woolworths and the friends and family of Mrs Lovell, we are able to provide this stimulating and exciting area for the children to play in. Their generosity will enable generations of children to benefit from this marvellous facility and we all extend our grateful thanks for their support."
